No such rule in BJP constitution: Amit Shah on Kejriwal's 'PM to quit at 75' claim
Indian Navy's INS Talwar achieved a significant milestone on April 13 by seizing 940 kg of drugs in the Arabian Sea, marking the Navy's first interdiction of illicit narcotics as a member of the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), a 42-nation naval partnership.
Operating under the Canadian-led Combined Task Force (CTF) 150, the warship intercepted a dhow during the Focused Operation Crimson Barracuda, resulting in the confiscation of 453 kg of methamphetamines, 416 kg of hash, and 71 kg of heroin.
CTF 150 is one of five task forces under Combined Maritime Forces, the world’s largest international naval partnership, the statement said. The Indian Navy joined CMF last November.
The operation, Crimson Barracuda, which concluded on April 15, was aimed at thwarting terrorist and criminal organizations' use of the high seas for smuggling operations in the western Indian Ocean region.
